Thinking about the Digital Sign?
Here's three questions to ask first:
1: Has your electrical and data work been completed?
The electrician should run cable prior to the install so power and internet plugins are neatly concealed being the screen. After-the-fact extension cord runs look unprofessional.
2: Do your mounting surfaces require reinforcement?
Creating a suitable mounting surface in retrofit locations can be tricky. Check whether that wall or ceiling has support. This stalls everything if not addressed in advance.
3. Are you liaising with your IT department?
Many companies have strict policies regarding what devices can connect to their corporate LAN. Without IT approval, your digital sign could be blocked from accessing the internet. Addressing this now to reduces headaches later.
ENS manages these steps, as well as the dozens of additional steps ENS has discovered are required for digital signs to be properly deployed and managed correctly. Digital sign software and hardware vendors do not consider these steps to be their responsibility - but they need to be addressed. We can help. Here's how.
